Fully lined Lauhala Band with heavy duty Theatrical Grade Velcro Closure for DIY Costuming Premium Grade finely woven lauhala is perfect for Fresh or Dry embellishments; we use the highest quality materials to construct professional grade costume bases. Completely stitched on all edges using top grade “Pro-forma 80” industrial thread, 2” and wider banding on headdresses / hip hei / belts / floral obi cumber-bands for dry costuming (stitched by hand or machine with seashells, feather, peore, Tapa, etc.) are lined with premium 100% organic cotton on 2-ply booklet folds with clean finish seams and reinforcement tacks at every pull point Fresh floral costuming bases of 2” and wider banding will be doubled or layered lauhala matting with non-woven backing for reinforcement and easy hand stitching of fresh flowers and foliage. Stitched on all edges using top grade “Pro-forma 80” industrial thread and finished with premium Velcro closure Sturdy and lightweight—please indicate in notes section if you prefer banding for dry costuming High-density inner layer is added for stability, endurance, and comfortable weight-balance! Each headdress base is carefully handcrafted and individually planned before cutting.
